Looking at systems, materials, waste streams and consumer behaviours is vital when it comes to circularity, but there’s something missing from this sentence - the magic of creativity. After all, that’s what powers fashion. If we’re really committed to #makingfashion circular, we need to tap into that. In this session, Clare Press, ambassador for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and presenter of the Wardrobe Crisis podcast, talks to two creative entrepreneurs shaking things up. Meet Linn Frisinger, the CEO of Swedish Stockings who is turning taken-back tights into tables, and Vendela Ragnarsson, cofounder of your new favourite digital consignment store, ReRobe.

LINN FRISINGER

Linn Frisinger is the founder and ceo of Swedish Stockings. The concept of Swedish Stockings was inspired by the documentary “The Lightbulb Conspiracy”. This film describes how modern consumer goods are designed in order to age quickly to boost consumption in society. Pantyhose are one of the worst offenders in this respect. They are poorly made and treated as a disposable item. Today Swedish Stockings is the only sustainable hosiery brand worldwide with a mission to change and influence the entire hosiery industry.
