STOCKHOLM SURFBOARD CLUB was founded 2019 by surfboard shaper and designer Manne Glad. Years prior to this, Manne’s explorative approach within art, music and craft attracted Jonny Johansson, founder and Creative Director at Acne Studios, who brought Manne to work with him as a designer at the brand. During these years, their mutual obsession for surfboards sparked the idea of creating a space to explore the past, present and future of surf culture, art and fashion - all together. Stockholm Surfboard Club is reinventing the classic surf brand with ambition to create a unique angle on surfing in the world of fashion and art.
STOCKHOLM SURFBOARD CLUB SS22 COLLECTION
What you can, and can not, wear on a golf course has sparked the idea of the Stockholm Surfboard Club SS22 collection. It is built on the contrast between a dress-coded golf uniform and a lost-and-found wardrobe with a mix of plaid trousers, airbrush t-shirts and satin shirts. The graphic theme of a theatrical/glam rock persona, with props of snakes, dolls and doves give a quirky twist for the possibility to dress up, dress down, and dress in-between
