STOCKHOLM SURFBOARD CLUB was founded 2019 by surfboard shaper and designer Manne Glad. Years prior to this, Manne’s explorative approach within art, music and craft attracted Jonny Johansson, founder and Creative Director at Acne Studios, who brought Manne to work with him as a designer at the brand. During these years, their mutual obsession for surfboards sparked the idea of creating a space to explore the past, present and future of surf culture, art and fashion - all together. Stockholm Surfboard Club is reinventing the classic surf brand with ambition to create a unique angle on surfing in the world of fashion and art.
STOCKHOLM SURFBOARD CLUB AW22 COLLECTION
The FW22 collection is inspired by off earth travels with technical rip-stop fabrics, utility fits and space airbrush t-shirts. A shiny coach jacket is contrasted with a garment dyed cargo trouser and rip-stop short sleeved shirt. The core program is updated with a relax fit long-sleeved t-shirt, which serves as a layering option to the seasonal washed out vacation shirts.
