MAGNIBERG was established in 2016 in Stockholm by fashion designer Bengt Thornefors and Nina Norgren, a florist and graphic designer.
The pair share a distinctively complex and sensual aesthetic. Together they have forged a fashion-led approach to bedlinen. Products are designed to be mixed and matched, combining textures and colours, to enable each customer to tailor their set of bedlinen to their personal preference. For example, mixing washed pink jersey pillowcases with a striped blue Oxford cotton duvet cover. The duo wants you to
"dress your bed as you dress yourself".
Thornefors’ CV includes stretches at fashion labels such as Saint Laurent Paris, Kostas Murkudis and Acne Studios. Inspired by their experiences in the fashion industry, Thornefors and Norgren have created a lifestyle brand with a strong focus on quality and longevity. Magniberg’s designs do not lose relevance, they tell a story. Magniberg seeks to reimagine bedlinen, presenting home textiles in a new context and giving everyday objects a personal and emotional energy.
