LUGOT is a Varberg/Stockholm based company that collaborate with small family-owned workshops in Arezzo, Italy, to create pieces that are a rendevouz between a vintage and contemporary look.

The design finds inspiration from the past, the present but actually not at all from the future – to create something you hopefully can love for a long time.

The collection we carry, is slow. We don’t launch 3245 new pieces in a drop since this is a great way to build overstock. We design one or two pieces, and then we wait for the response before we take a decision on how to continue. And by collaborating with small workshops in Arezzo we can order small amounts, which leads to our non-sale-policy – because there is absolutely no need to.

And with the mission to create our company we take pride in we value honesty. The recycling business is complex – and our pieces consist of 20%-90% recycled materials. We constantly push our workshop to strive for a higher percentage when sourcing, and our goal is for end 2021 to use 100% recycled gold and silver.

THE COLLECTION

Corso
In times where we need to turn to our fantasies or google earth to travel, it made us look back att the pieces we brought back from previous journeys and vacations. Sea shell necklaces, colorful beads and glass shaped from the sea. Those necklaces looked great with sun kissed skin, vacation mode and sand; at home they ended up in a drawer.

How would a LUGOT gift shop piece look like? With that in mind we created a small rough bead that is the main component for the necklace and bracelet. With a hint of the pieces skateboard dudes from our passed whore…. The I-don’t-really-care-but-I-do kinda look.

Quincie
For spring we have designed some more pieces to our very much appreciated Quincie-collection. The shapes in this collection comes from castings of two small fresh water pearls and the new earrings, in shape of studs are great one on one but also stacked to create a contemporary look.

Comes with the classic surface and then we also introduce a new rougher surface that worn together with the shiny smoother one make each other look great. In addition to this we also have created a delicate bracelet from the smaller one of the pearls.
