IDA SJÖSTEDT The fashion house of Ida Sjöstedt was founded 2001 in Stockholm after the designer graduated from University of Westminster, London, with a BA in womenswear.
Over the years the brand has grown to become one of the most known in Sweden, and Ida Sjöstedt has won many prestigious awards for her innovating work within Swedish occasion wear.
With an ingenious eye for what women want, rooted in the traditional artistry of tailoring and couture, Ida Sjöstedt’s collections are equal parts emotion, craft, creativity, and culture. Intrigued and inspired by the complexity of being a woman, Ida Sjöstedt’s design is created for riot girls, fairytale princesses, power ladies and everyone else in between.
A sustainable work process has always been in focus when developing the collections in the atelier in Stockholm as well as in the final production which is mainly made in Europe, and Ida Sjöstedt is constantly exploring new technologies and materials, to create clothes that will be loved and last for a lifetime, with as small impact as possible on our environment.

An urban utopia, inspired by nature.
Ida Sjöstedt AW22 is inspired by dreams of the future and life in the present.
The collection evolves around the idea of hyper nature- the thought that technology could be the answer to saving the world, creating new alternatives even better than the real thing.
These ideas are translated into a silhouette best described as glamour on steroids, fit for super heroines of today.
Exaggerated balloon sleeves in Colette -the new power coat for cold days and Coraline - delicate gown fit for a royal ball.
Waspy waistlines and opulent ruffles in dreamy party frocks and super tight catsuits that fit like a second skin.
The colour scale range from black darkness to earthy shades of champagne, mauve, sand and forest green as well as dark browns with metallic shimmer.
Flowers frozen in a moment just before fading, a swarm of bees and broken branches still carrying some leaves are printed on soft tulle, chiffon and silky satins.
Introducing new key pieces like Panther dress Hypnotic top and the Drama jumpsuit in silk mix crepe that is paired with furry artificial feathers and lined in FSC certified acetate and recycled polyester.
