THE COLLECTION

HODAKOVA Conventional Collection 1121, brings forward the need we feel for harmony between structure, comfort and curiosity. The collection is presented in a short film that enables us to follow the collection experiencing the beauty of earth, such as the problem we are facing. HODAKOVA’s designs are marked by a classic yet timeless aesthetic that reimagine ideas of elegance and style. Old clothes are being deconstructed and repurposed into new items, flipping their inherent function in the process.

I want to express a visions and the gratitude I feel for collaborating with friends and the love for each others work. My world plays together with the people surrounded by me and the constant debate of expressions we are sharing. Clothes has always been a game for me, playing with the interaction between expectation and surprises. I believe in presence and that growth helps us make better choices. Progress is a playground so have a bottle of wine and put some E-type records on. Lots of love, ” – Ellen
In the short film, the viewer gets to know earth in an undefined period where future and present, questions the performativity of each other. Surrounded by substitutes, viewed through a membrane of screens, portraying the two sides of an ego.
