Following the NK STYLE ICON 2020 AWARDS CEREMONY, presenter Catarina Midby, Swedish Fashion Association’s Secretary General, discusses Style, Fashion and Trends with Emilia de Poret, Fashion journalist, Daniel Lindsröm, Fashion Director at Café and King magazines, and Ingela Klementz Farago, the winner of the NK Style Icon 2020 Award. 






CATARINA MIDBY

Catarina Midby has worked in the fashion industry for more than 30 years. She started as a fashion editor at Swedish Elle magazine and then moved on to PR, trends and sustainability at H&M Group. Last year she joined Swedish Fashion Association as Secretary General aiming to bring together, support and promote Swedish fashion. She has also started up her own sustainable T-shirt brand MIDBY STUDIO.

EMILIA DE PORET

Emilia de Poret is a fashion writer, author, TV personality and investor. Together with Ebba Kleberg von Sydow she runs the fashion platform Säker Stil. Emilia acts as a moderator in various fashion contexts, reports from fashion weeks, podcasts on fashion and lifestyle, writes style books and invests in startups with a focus on female entrepreneurship. DANIEL LINDSTRÖM

Over the years, Daniel Lindström has become synonymous not only with the magazine Café, of which he is today creative director and fashion director, but with fashion in general. He knows everyone in the industry, participates in all important events and is always the one the media turns to when they want a statement about men's fashion. It is a role with great influence and tasks many people dream of.

INGELA KLEMENTZ FARAGO

There are a few people that can walk in to a room and make everything around them fade. The winner of the NK Style Icon Award Ingela Clement Farago is the centre of attention personified. With a unique sense of style and a confidence to wear the most eye-catching garments, she is the definition of style. Ingela is a former model and singer songwriter who now works as one-half of a fashion photographer duo with her husband Peter Farago. The duo have extended their creative visionary world into a jewellery line INGY STOCKHOLM. INGY STOCKHOLM uses different colors like copper, blue-sky, red-magma, gold, silver, and white snow that represent elements from nature and earth.
